PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a resin roller having a surface uniformly roughened into a required surface roughness, which can be manufactured with a small number of steps. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the resin roller having a roughened surface comprises the steps of forming a resin composition prepared by blending a rigid resin material (A) and a copolymerized polymer (B) including a rigid constituent (B1) constituted by the same polymer as the rigid resin material and a flexible constituent (B2) constituted by a polymer more flexible than the rigid constituent into a solid cylinder or a hollow cylinder, and grinding the obtained formed body.
