PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print head which can control a distance between a tip end of a printing wire and a print medium to prevent reduction in printing capability, and to provide a printer with the print head. SOLUTION: The printer with the print head is provided from which an extract spacer 14 is extracted when a use condition of a print head 1 is proceeded, a tip end of a wire 11 is worn and thereby a distance between a printing surface of a print sheet 20 and the tip end of the wire 11 increases to reduce printing capacity, and when the extract spacer 14 is extracted, a distance L2 between the top end of a tracing roller 12 and the reference surface 16a of a frame is decreased to a distance L1-2t, a distance between the printing surface of the print sheet 20 and the reference surface 16a of the frame that equals to the distance L2 is also decreased, and a distance d2 between the tip end of the protruding wire 11 and the printing surface of the print sheet 20 is also decreased to a distance d1-2t, whereby the tip end of the wire 11 approaches the printing surface of the print sheet 20, so that the distance between the tip end of the wire 11 and the printing surface of the print sheet 20 becomes the distance d2 before the wire 11 is worn.
