PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torch for an electric welding machine having an electrode rod, which can adjust welding current without interrupting a welding execution work by fingers of a hand supporting the welding torch by longitudinally moving a current adjusting rod of a current adjuster with respect to a cylindrical handle by other fingers while pressing a torch switch by a finger of a hand holding the welding torch in an electric welding work. SOLUTION: The torch for the electric welding machine comprises a torch head having an electrode rod, and a cylindrical handle mounted with the torch head on its distal end and provided with a straight-sliding current adjuster and a lead wire being drawn from its rear end.
