The invention relates to medicine and concerns a method for integral estimation of human blood vessels compliance when measuring the arterial tension which provides for slow change of external pressure on patient hand arteria due to successive cuff compression and decompression, measuring signal with information on current pressure in the cuff, analyzing amplitude of signal micropulsations which observed due to establishment of flow through arteria, analyzing signal micropulsations on which local fragments associated with reflection of pulse waves from lower human body are observed, determination of average time delay of emergence of said fragments relative to maximal values of corresponding signal micropulsations and estimation of patient blood vessels compliance index by formula: I=H/Tm, wherein I - integral index of blood vessels compliance, Tm - average time delay, H - patient height.
