<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microlens array substrate for suppressing the occurrence of warping of a glass substrate, which is caused by difference between a thermal expansion coefficient of the glass substrate and that of a microlens array. <P>SOLUTION: The microlens array substrate includes a glass transparent substrate 102 and a microlens array 210 which is disposed on the glass transparent substrate 102 and is mainly composed of glass. The microlens array 210 includes a plurality of semicylindrical microlenses 211 arranged in parallel with each other and a plurality of grooves 212 which are formed on the microlenses 211 at fixed intervals along an extension direction of the microlenses 211 and are formed so as to extend in one direction non-parallel to the extension direction of the microlenses 211. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
