<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device, in which a seat belt can be easily pulled out by securely unlocking a clutch mechanism even in a situation where control is stopped due to motor power source abnormality or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A control device 20 monitors power voltage Vt of the motor 11 during winding action to the seat belt 100 to determine whether or not there is possibility for the power voltage Vt to be lower than a lower limit voltage value Vr with which rotation of the motor 11 can be changed from a normal direction into a reverse direction. In case where it is determined that there is a possibility for the power voltage Vt to be lower than the lower limit voltage value Vr, the motor 11 is rotated in the reverse direction to be forced to cancel the lock state of the clutch mechanism 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
