PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device 20 capable of appropriately displaying the current position of a vehicle, when the vehicle turns to the right or to the left at an intersection, in matching with the behavior of the actual vehicle. SOLUTION: When there is an intersection where a vehicle should turn to the left in a recommended route within a forward predetermined distance from the current position of the vehicle, the navigation device 20 corrects the current position of the vehicle to a position closer to the intersection, where it should turn to the left than to the current position of the vehicle, according to the distance from the intersection where it should turn to the left to the current position of the vehicle, and displays the corrected current position on a display device 13. When there is an intersection where the vehicle should turn to the right in the recommended route within the forward predetermined distance from the current position of the vehicle, the navigation device 20 corrects the current position of the vehicle to a position located farther from the intersection where it should turn to the right than from the current position of the vehicle, according to the distance from the intersection where it should turn to the right to the current position of the vehicle, and displays the corrected current position on the display device 13.
