PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stroke training apparatus for billiards, which is used for training the control of a cue stick for striking a ball. SOLUTION: The cue stick 10 is disposed between a pole 60 stood near a billiard table 40 and a user training stroke, and a body portion of a cylindrical body 30 fixed at the end so as to be fastened and fitted around the rear end of a cue grip 14 held in a dominant arm of the user and extended rearward from the cue grip 14, is slid in a direction crossing the side surface of the pole 60 while making press-contact with the side surface of the pole 60. The apparatus corrects the habit of drawing the cue stick 10 to the body side of the user not to the back side, or the habit of pushing the cue stick 10 obliquely forward not straight forward.
