PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container lid, which allows its stacking capability to be stabilized, the stacking capability meaning whether a plurality of container lids, when stacked up in sequence, collapse or not, and which enables their sure removal one by one from the top one down in sequence of the stacked container lids. SOLUTION: The container lid (A), made of synthetic resin, having a top plate section 5 and a cylindrical lateral wall section 4, comprises: a formed thick-walled section 2 projecting inward at an intermediate part of the lateral wall 4, and a recess 6 between the thick-walled section 2 and the top plate 5; a plurality of stack-ribs 1, at the thick-walled section 2, projecting in a direction counter to the location of the top plate 5; and thus clearances are produced between the portions of the thick-walled section 2 where the stack-ribs 1 are not equipped and the top plate section 5, thereby preventing overlapped container lids (A) from air-tightly contacting one another.
