<p>An eyewash device where eyewash liquid is reliably prevented from leaking. The eyewash device is made of an elastic material and is formed in a cup-like shape with the lower end closed and the upper end opened. The eyewash device has a finger grip (10) provided at its lower end; a contact edge (20) surrounding the upper end opening and shaped to fit to the periphery of an eye; and a receiving section (30) extending continuously or stepwise from the finger grip (10) to the contact edge (20) while expanding its diameter, having formed at its lower part an eyewash liquid containing section (31), and having formed at its upper part a transition section (35) extending from the containing section (31) to the contact edge (20). A vertically extending projection section (40) formed by outwardly bending a part of a side wall is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the receiving section (30), and the projection section (40) prevents deformation of the receiving section (30) when the finger grip (10) is held by fingers.</p>
