An instant food is provided to secure a savory and simple taste, be simply cooked like popcorn even without roasting or frying meats, and inhibit induction of adult diseases. A method for manufacturing an instant food includes the steps of: adding a seasoning containing salt to meat chops with predetermined size and mixing the materials together; drying the meat chops to a moisture content of 5-10wt% so as to have an outer surface harder than the inside of the meat chops; putting the dried meat chops into a bag formed of a material capable of transmitting a microwave, and then sealing the bag; and heating the bag containing the meat chops in a microwave oven to pop the meat chops. |
