<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity of an image forming apparatus by shortening an interruption time of image formation. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an image forming part 54 for forming an image on a recording paper on the basis of a print job; a postprocessing part for subjecting the recording paper having the image formed thereon, to post processing designated by the print job; an image quality adjustment means 62 for adjusting an image quality of the image formed on the recording paper by the image forming part 54; and a control means 50 which operates a postprocessing time required for execution of postprocessing in the postprocessing part 18, per print job and controls the image quality adjustment means 62 so that image quality adjustment processing may be executed within the operated postprocessing time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
