摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device capable of improving efficiency of NOx reduction and sulfur regeneration treatment by exhaust pipe fuel addition, and capable of maintaining high level of NOx conversion performance especially even in a case of low exhaust gas temperature or exhaust gas containing sulfur component in a NOx storage reduction catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device is provided with the NOx storage reduction control catalyst 8 arranged in an exhaust gas passage 4 of an internal combustion engine 1, a fuel distillation device 16 heating and distilling part of fuel to light fuel and heavy fuel, a light fuel tank 21 storing light fuel, a fuel adding device 24 supplying part of fuel into the exhaust gas passage 4 of an upstream of the NOx storage reduction catalyst 8, a light fuel adding device 25 supplying light fuel into the exhaust gas passage 4 of the upstream of the NOx storage reduction catalyst 8, and a fuel addition control device 30 controlling the fuel adding device 24 and the light fuel adding device 25 to supply the light fuel after supplying fuel when NOx reduction treatment and/or sulfur regeneration treatment are performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
