PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance while axial length of a tandem-type vehicle AC power generator is shortened. SOLUTION: In the tandem-type vehicle AC power generator, a pair of Lundell-type rotor cores 21 and 31 are tandem-arranged and stator coils 24 and 34 are constituted by segment sequential connection-type coils. Axial direction center positions of disks (inner arranged disk parts) 212 and 213 arranged on an outer side of an axial direction of the Lundell-type rotor cores 21 and 31 are disposed in an axial direction existing range of armature cores (stator cores) 23 and 33. Thus, an axial direction clearance is expanded between coil ends 242 and 342 on an inner side of the axial direction of the adjacent stator coils 24 and 34. Cooling property of the coil ends 242 and 342 is improved and mutual inductance can be reduced between the coil ends 242 and 342.
