PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate any artifact in color print. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for correcting half-tone pixel data of a selected pixel which contains a first prescribed primary color and does not contain a second prescribed primary color, other than black, different from the first prescribed primary color, the selected pixel being existent in a half-tone cell of the second prescribed primary color, the method including: acquiring half-tone data of an arbitrary pixel within a neighboring half-tone cell of the second prescribed primary color having the same intra-cell position as the selected pixel; and correcting the half-tone pixel data of the selected pixel so as to contain the second prescribed primary color if any one of the acquired half-tone pixel data contain the second primary color and do not contain the first prescribed primary color.
