PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read out the information of telephone book data stored in a communication terminal by transmitting a message to the lost communication terminal and to prevent the outflow of personal information. SOLUTION: The communication terminal is provided with: a message transmitting/receiving part 10 for transmitting/receiving a message 200; a data storage part 300 for storing telephone book data 31 and opposite party registration information 31; an opposite party authentication part 21 for authenticating a sender of the received message; a message analysis part 22 for analyzing the contents of the received message; and a return message preparation processing part 23 for automatically preparing a return message. When the received message includes a telephone book data retrieving command, the message analysis part 22 retrieves telephone book data 32 concerned from a memory 30 and the return message preparation processing part 23 prepares a return message including the telephone book data which is a retrieved result retrieved by the message analysis part 22 and transmits the return message from the message transmitting/receiving part 10.
