PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilator suppressing the degradation of the durability of a carrier truck and a loaded article on the truck and effectively ventilating the inside of a tunnel gallery. SOLUTION: A suction duct 16b sucking air from an opening directed toward a tunnel excavating section by a suction fan incorporated to the inside and a wet type dust collector 11 removing dust in air sent in from the suction duct 16b and discharging cleaned air are loaded on a bed 1a for the carrier truck 1. An air-supply duct 40 sucking cleaned air discharged from an exhaust port 30a for the wet type dust collector 11 by driving a ventilating fan incorporated to the inside and injecting cleaned air toward an excavating section for the tunnel gallery A is further loaded on the bed 1a for the carrier truck 1. An expansible bellows-shaped air duct 70 is connected to a suction port for the suction duct 16b. The air duct 70 is adjusted so that an end opening on the excavating-section side is brought near to the excavating section as the excavation of the tunnel gallery A progresses, air in the periphery of the excavating section is sucked into the air duct 70 and ventilation work is conducted in a state that the carrier truck 1 is stopped at a place separated from an excavating position.
