PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera module which has a zooming function, capable of performing continuous zooming and an automatic focusing (AF) function, is made small in size and light in weight, and attains desired zooming and accurate focusing, and to provide a portable terminal equipped with the camera module. SOLUTION: The camera module includes a first cam body 75, which has a helical body formed on its outer peripheral surface and is rotated by receiving the driving force of a first motor 71 for driving an AF optical lens group 35; and a second cam body 72, which has a helical body 728 formed on its outer peripheral surface and is rotated by receiving the driving force of a second motor 70 for driving zoom optical lens groups 30 and 32.
