PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold air control damper for a refrigerator capable of increasing the capacity of an inner refrigeration chamber compared to a conventional one without increasing the depth of the refrigerator. SOLUTION: The cold air control damper for the indirect cooling type refrigerator consists of an open/close plate 12 provided in a manner capable of moving back and forth to a supply hole 7 of cold air formed in an inner wall 3a of the refrigeration chamber and movable along the supply hole 7 and the inner wall 3a, a groove part 13 (20, 21) for engaging with at least a side part in the moving direction of this open/close plate 12 and guiding the open/close plate back-and-forth to the supply hole and a moving direction along the supply hole and the inner wall, a rack 14 (14a, 14b) integrally provided at a back surface side of the open/close plate 12, a pinion 15 for meshing with the rack and a motor 16 for rotating and driving the pinion.
