PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To concurrently achieve, at a higher level, securement of the insulation performance and the durability, and the cost reduction of ball bearings 11, 11 incorporated to be in a CT scanner. SOLUTION: Each ball 16 to be incorporated in both the ball bearings 11, 11 is made of metal. Out of the surface of an outer ring 13, an outer peripheral surface 17, axial both ends 18, 18, and continuous portions 23, 23 are coated with a ceramic insulation layer 21 made of ceramics respectively. Thereby, the insulation performance of both the ball bearings 11, 11 can be obtained without manufacturing each ball 16 made of ceramics. Peeling can be prevented from occurring owing to the difference in the material properties among each ball 16, an outer ring raceway 12 and an inner ring raceway 14.
