PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move a valve element backward to open a valve port without increasing the size of a motor by cancelling the adhesion of the valve element to the peripheral edge of the valve port before moving the valve element backward even if the valve element is adhered to the peripheral edge of the valve port. SOLUTION: This motor safety valve control method comprises a step for moving a movable electromagnet 3 further downward from a position where the movable electromagnet 3 abuts on a movable armature 5 when the valve port 13 is continuously closed for a predetermined time, to give elastic deformation to the valve element 6. The elastic deformation cancels the adhesion of the valve element 6 to the peripheral edge of the valve port 13 to eliminate the need for a great force when pulling the movable electromagnet up thereafter.
