PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for adjusting a carriage mounting position which can highly precisely adjust a gap parallelism between a nozzle opening formation face of a liquid jet head and a face to be jetted of a medium to be jetted, and to provide a liquid jet apparatus and a recorder equipped with the carriage mounting position adjusting mechanism. SOLUTION: The carriage mounting position adjusting mechanism is equipped with eccentric pivot shafts 31a and 31b mounted on a main carriage 21 to be parallel to a carriage guide shaft 127, and a reference rotary shaft 32a mounted on a sub carriage 22 to be parallel to the carriage guide shaft and the eccentric pivot shafts. The sub carriage is rotated centering the reference rotary shaft by pivoting the eccentric pivot shafts, whereby the gap parallelism between the nozzle opening formation face of the liquid jet head and the face to be jetted of the medium to be jetted is adjusted.
