PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the verticality of a rotor hub to a shaft, and to obtain a proper force required for press-fitting the shaft to the rotor hub in a motor of a recording disk drive. SOLUTION: In a rotor component 30, a press-fit section 322 of the shaft 32 is press-fitted to a hole 3125 in a bushing 312, and the shaft 32 is fixed to the rotor hub. Since only an upper abutment section 3221 and a lower abutment section 3223 in the press-fitting section 322 are abraded on an inner side face 3126 in the hole 3125, the proper force required for press-fitting the shaft 32 is obtained by setting the total length of the upper abutment section 3221 and the lower abutment section 3223 to a proper length. A fastening length of the shaft 32 and the rotor hub is increased, and the verticality of the rotor hub to the shaft 32 is improved by providing a middle section 3222 prevented from contacting the inner side face 3126 in the hole 3125 without applying an excess load to the shaft 32 during press-fitting.
