METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DISPLAYING CONTENTS LIST

A method for displaying a contents list and a device thereof are provided to search contents conveniently and to provide the contents list included in the other category, by operating a direction key only by a user. A method for displaying a contents list includes a step of receiving an order of a user(302); and a step of indicating the contents list different from the contents list displayed at a present screen by one predetermined category out of plural categories, on the screen according to a type of the order for the user(304). In a device for displaying the contents list, the other different contents list from the contents list of the present screen is indicated on an output unit according to the received order from an input unit by a control unit.
