摘要 A method and an apparatus for allocating forward resources in an OFDMA(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) system are provided to improve resource allocation efficiency by allocating different IDs for respective receivers according to the number of resources for the receivers. A base station transmitter(900) includes a downlink scheduler/controller(902), which allocates different short MAC(Media Access Control) IDs to respective terminals. Data symbols, which are generated in a symbol generator for control channel(904), a data symbol generator for UE(User Equipment)1(906), and a data symbol generator for UEN(908), are inputted to an S/P converter(910) and converted into a parallel signal. The result is inputted to a mapper(912). Data symbols for the terminals, which are mapped into sub-carriers in the mapper, are converted into time domain signals in an IFFT(Inverse Fast Fourier Transform)(914). The result is converted to serial OFDM samples in a P/S converter(916). The result is inputted to a guard interval inserter(918).
