A data output driver of a semiconductor memory device is provided to enable the semiconductor memory device to maintain optimum operation environment, by comprising a control device for changing driving capability of the data output driver according to a termination value. A semiconductor memory device includes a data output driver(120) and a control device. The control device controls driving capability of the data output driver according to a termination value. The control device includes a mode register set(MRS)(142) to control the driving capability of the data output driver. The control device further includes a termination sensing circuit sensing the termination.
