<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white light emitting diode which can exhibit high emission efficiency, achieve white light stably, and be widely utilized as a high efficient light source which can replace a backlight of luminaire or display device, and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The white light emitting diode comprises: an ultraviolet light emitting diode; a mixed fluorescent material layer, which is formed on an upper surface of the ultraviolet light emitting diode, including a green fluorescent material and a blue fluorescent material; and a red light emission quantum dot layer, which is formed on an upper surface of the mixed fluorescent material layer, including red light emission quantum dot. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
