ELECTROLYTE AND LITHIUM SECONDARY CELL USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrolyte having fire retardancy, excellent in safety, conductivity, and even in case of use as a lithium secondary cell, showing excellent cell performance (conductivity, charge and discharge characteristics or the like).

SOLUTION: The electrolyte is made of trialkylimidazolium salt (A) represented by 1-butyl-2,3-dimethyl imidazolium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide, inorganic particles (B) represented by silica and supporting electrolyte salt (C) represented by LiPF6, or it includes organic electrolyte solution (D) represented by propylene carbonate with the above electrolyte. Moreover, the lithium secondary cell is provided pinching the electrolyte between a cathode and an anode.
