<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrating actuator which drives a plurality of rotors by one vibration means. <P>SOLUTION: When the vibrating actuator generates composite vibration where a plurality of vibrations are combined by driving a composite vibrator 2, the first stator 3 and the second stator 4 vibrate, and elliptic motion is made each at the corners 8 and 9 of these first stator 3 and the second stator 4. Consequently, the first rotor A in pressure contact with the corner 8 of the first stator 3 and the second rotor B in pressure contact with the corner 9 of the second stator 4 are rotated each at the same time. The two rotors A and B are rotated in the same direction or in the opposite direction by selecting a plurality of vibration modes which constitute composite vibration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
