<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell capable of improving p-n junction characteristics by diffusing a sufficient amount of dopant onto a semiconductor substrate, and to provide a method for manufacturing the solar cell. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the solar cell includes: a step for forming a porous film on one surface of the semiconductor substrate; a step for jetting a compound containing the dopant into the porous film; and a step for forming an emitter layer on one surface of the semiconductor substrate by diffusing the dopant. The method is used, thus diffusing a sufficient amount of dopant onto the semiconductor substrate, hence improving the p-n junction characteristics in the solar cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
