<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation program capable of reducing the time and labor of a user for the updating of the firmware of an image forming apparatus and test printing, the image forming apparatus and a printing system. <P>SOLUTION: The installation program makes a computer function as an acquisition part 7b for acquiring the driver of the image forming apparatus 3 and the rewrite data of the firmware of the image forming apparatus 3 corresponding to the image forming apparatus 3, an installation processing part 7c for installing the driver acquired by the acquisition part 7b to the present apparatus 2, and a transmission part 7d for transmitting printing data for the test printing to which the rewrite data acquired by the acquisition part 7b are added to the image forming apparatus 3 in order to execute the updating of the firmware of the image forming apparatus 3 and the test printing when the driver is installed by the installation processing part 7c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
