<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server device capable of notifying the end result of a job by an event even when a user logs out from a network and logs in again. <P>SOLUTION: The server device connected through a network with the print controller and a plurality of client devices comprises: a holding means for holding the list of the users who have logged in the plurality of client devices respectively; an updating means for respectively acquiring the login conditions of the plurality of client devices and updating the list; a reception means for receiving the inquiry of the login conditions of the user who requests printing to the print controller from the print controller; a specifying means for specifying the client device that the user logs in the list corresponding to the inquiry; and a transmission means for transmitting the information of the specified client device to the print controller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
