PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound outputting device along with a display equipped with it, capable of preventing fluttering sound from a decorative plate by suppressing vibration of it, caused by sounds, which is detachably attached to a case. SOLUTION: A case 3 comprising sound output holes 31 for outputting sounds, to the outside, generated by a sound source, is provided with a plurality of flexible pieces 38 which presses a decorative plate 4 that decorates the sound output holes 31 in the direction away from the case 3, and a plurality of engagement holes 35 that open around the sound output holes 31. The decorative plate 4 is equipped with engagement pieces 43 inserted in the engagement holes 35, and a tab 45 which deflects when the engagement piece 43 is inserted in the engagement hole 35 and elastically restores after insertion so that the engagement piece 43 is pressed against the inner surface of the engagement hole 35. So, the tab 45, the engagement piece 43, and the flexible piece 38 prevent the occurrence of fluttering sound on the decorative plate 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
