PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin disk driving device improved in shock resistance performance. SOLUTION: This device is provided with: a collision preventing hole 21 in the position facing the end of the optical head housing 25 of an under cover 19; and a shock force buffering member 22 in the position facing the collision preventing hole of a bottom cover 4. When a shock force is applied to the disk driving device 1, the shock force of the optical head casing 25 is buffered through the structure. Thus, the damaging of the optical head 8 is prevented, and the reliability of the disk driving device 1 is improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
