PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for tire that contains silica, can improve icing performance by increasing sticky friction of a tread rubber without deteriorating wear-resistance, and have good miscibility and processability. SOLUTION: Based on 100 pts.wt. of a rubber component having a weight ratio between natural rubber and butadiene rubber of 10:0-2:8 respectively, the rubber composition for tire comprises 20-100 pts.wt. of silica, 0.5-10 pts.wt. of an organic silane compound expressed by general formula (1) R<SP>1</SP><SB>m</SB>(R<SP>2</SP>O)<SB>n</SB>Si (wherein, m and n are each an integer, m+n=4, R<SP>1</SP>is a 5-20C alkyl group, and R<SP>2</SP>is a 1-3C alykyl group), and 1-20 wt.% of a silane coupling agent based on the weight of the silica.
