PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention of hyperproliferative vascular diseases. SOLUTION: The pharmaceutical composition to be administered before suffering vascular damage is composed of an antiproliferative effective amount of rapamycin or a combination of rapamycin and mycophenolic acid and a pharmacologically allowable carrier.
