摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable good reformed gas formation by inhibiting drop of reformation performance of a reformer even if fuel properties are changed in an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: An exhaust pipe 25 is connected to the reformer 27 via an exhaust gas branch flow pipe 29 branching part of exhaust gas flowing in the exhaust pipe 25, a second injector 30 is installed on the exhaust gas branch flow pipe 29, and a flow rate adjusting valve 32 and a reformed gas introduction pipe 31 introducing reformed gas reformed in the reformer 27 into an intake pipe 15 are provided. An air fuel ratio sensor 36 is adopted as a fuel property detection means. ECU 33 judges that fuel properties have been changed when exhaust gas air fuel ratio is under a lean condition or a rich condition.
