PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion composition which contains an oily raw material in a large amount, and has high transparency and excellent stability at high temperature. SOLUTION: This emulsion composition is obtained by emulsifying a composition comprising an oily component, lecithin and a specific surfactant by a high pressure emulsifying method, has high transparency, and is excellent in stability at high temperature. When the emulsion composition is used as a milky lotion for makeup, the emulsion composition gives a light sense of use, in spite of containing the oily component in a large amount.
