PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass plate to be worked with a heat treatment in which the elution of alkali is suppressed. SOLUTION: The glass plate 1 comprises an alkali-containing glass 20, a first alkali shielding film 30 and a second alkali shielding film 40. Each of the first alkali shielding film 30 and the second alkali shielding film 40 comprises a silicon oxide film. The elution of sodium contained in the alkali-containing glass 20 to the outside is suppressed by the first alkali shielding film 30 and the second alkali shielding film 40 which are laminated on the surface of the alkali-containing glass 20.
