PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce equipment cost and running cost in a sludge drying apparatus where sludge is dried, to reduce the time required for drying treatment, and to prevent production of harmful substance caused by thermal decomposition. SOLUTION: In the sludge drying apparatus (1) for drying sludge charged to the inside of a treatment tank (10), a blowing air vent (12) is formed at the treatment tank (10), further, an air acceptor (11) is arranged at a position confronted with the blowing air vent (12), and sludge is dispersed by a gas injected from the blowing air vent (12) toward the air acceptor (11), and is further stirred, so as to be dried.
