<p>Provided is a speaker device comprising first speaker units (2, 5) and second speaker units (3, 6) disposed symmetrically, as viewed from an auditory center axis (X1-X2). The first speaker units (2, 5) emit sounds inward and reproduce at least medium or higher sound ranges, and the second speaker units (3, 6) emit sound forward and attenuate high sound ranges. With respect to the auditory position in the front direction of one of speaker systems (1, 4), the sounds to arrive from both the first speaker units at the nearer speaker system and the second speaker units are caused to weaken each other by the phase difference, so that the sound pressure of the medium sound range to arrive from the nearer speaker system attenuates more than the sound pressure of the medium sound range to arrive from the farther speaker system. The effects to enlarge the audible range, in which a center sound image location is obtained, can be enhanced to give a natural sound quality of no uncomfortable feeling thereby to reproduce a high sound pressure and to reduce the size.</p> |
