A second substrate(4) is placed opposite to the first substrate, and is provided with light emitting unit(200) on a surface opposite to the electron emission unit. A wall-type spacer(24) is interposed between the first and second substrates. Plural supports(26) are attached on any one of the first and second substrates. Any one of the supports is spaced apart from the spacer.
