A computer desk with an ascending and descending monitor is provided to make a monitor built inside a desk come in and out the desk by the operation of a lift to broaden the utilized space of the desk. A computer desk with an ascending and descending monitor includes a desk body(100), a lift, a lift driving device(300), a switch button, a door, and an opening/closing unit. The lift is installed inside an opening portion(111) of the desk body to be able to ascend and descend. A monitor placement portion is formed on the upper surface of the lift. The switch button for controlling the driving of the driving device is electrically connected to the lift driving device. The door closes the opening portion installed on the desk body. The opening/closing unit opens the door when the lift ascends and closes the door when the lift descends.
