摘要 The present invention provides an optical waveguide having means for performing optical coupling with high efficiency at a predetermined position in an optical circuit substrate including an optical-electrical circuit board by providing an optical waveguide mirror changing in an optical circuit an optical path at a steep angle. The optical waveguide has a core and a cladding layer, and a wall surface, which is formed by cutting out at least a part of the core (32,34,35) in a thickness direction of the core through irradiation of a laser beam and crosses at least a part of the core, wherein this wall surface is a specular surface.
