An upset apparatus for a flood gate is provided to store water introduced upstream and upset the flood gate whenever the stored water reaches a predetermined level. An upset apparatus for a flood gate comprises a variable break unit(50), which includes a band break(52) installed on an outer circumference thereof so as to be able to break a break drum(51), a lever(54) elastically supported by a spring(53) and coupled to one end of the band break, a relaxation cam(56) connected with a winding drum(21) through a fourth chain(37), coming into contact with the lever on one side thereof, and operated on the basis of a slop of the lever, and a push rod(57) eccentrically installed on the side of the relaxation cam so as to be move linearly. |
