An apparatus for controlling flow rate of gas is provided to decrease consumption and operation noise and cope with an accident such as interruption of electric power. An apparatus for controlling flow rate of gas comprises a stepping motor(1) and a disk base(5) installed to allow a shaft(3) coupled to the stepping motor(1) to pass through. The disk base(5) has a path adjustment groove(510) and a path adjustment hole(500). A flow rate control plate(6) is installed while closely making contact with the upper surface of the disk base(5), and a flow rate adjustment through hole(600). A lifter(7) is installed at the upper portion of the flow rate control plate(6). A solenoid device allows a first path to maintain an opened state by absorbing a solenoid shaft by using electromagnetic force. A diagram support(8) is installed at the upper portion of the disk base(5) to surround the flow rate control plate(6) and the lifter(7).
