PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid dispensing device and liquid dispensing method enabling to dispense liquid with high accuracy and high efficiency. SOLUTION: For liquid dispensing in which a liquid 24 is supplied to a plurality of wells 20a formed on a micro plate 20 with a nozzle 24, the position of the wells 20a is determined under the nozzle 24 by moving a vessel supporting part 17 horizontally, the vessel supporting part is moved upward so that the bottom edge of the nozzle 24 is inserted into the wells 20a, the liquid 26 is ejected from the nozzle 24 to the wells 20a while the bottom edge of the nozzle 24 is inserted into the wells 20a, and then the bottom edge of the nozzle 24 is removed from the wells 20a. As a result, the liquid ejected from the nozzle 24 is supplied into the liquid container parts surely.
