A full-bridge active clamp DC-DC converter is provided to use a switch with less internal voltage than the maximum input voltage by lowering voltage stress for the switch below the maximum input voltage. A full-bridge active clamp DC-DC converter includes a primary side circuit unit, and a secondary side circuit unit. The primary and secondary side circuit units are divided by a transformer. The primary side circuit unit is a full-bridge active clamp circuit unit(100) which has an input condenser(Cd), two main switches(S1,S2), two sub switches(S3,S4), and a clamp condenser(Cc). The secondary side circuit unit is an output rectifying circuit unit(200) to rectify output voltage. The voltage applied to the clamp condenser(Cc) is less than the maximum input voltage.
