An article is wrapped with film carrying regularly repeated indicia or patterning 11, the film being applied so that successive layers at least partially overlap. Thus, a substantially regular pattern is provided on the exterior of the wrapped article which will be visibly disturbed if tampering occurs. The film may be of polyethylene and may be drawn or fed from a reel. Adhesive 4, 8 and a release coating 6, 9 may be provided on edge portions of the film as shown. |
