A method of determining the concentration of one or more components of the thiol redox state (TRS) in a sample, the method comprising : a) subjecting the sample to a photometric or fluorescent thiol specific probe; b) obtaining an absorbance or fluorescence value equivalent to one or more components of TRS; and c) calculating the concentration of the one or more components of TRS. |
